I watched movies and I have some questions.

In Kumagai SAN's life movie he went to school by train and bus. Is it usual to use them to go there ?
In what students eat movie some one had beer. Do you drink alcohol in camps?

Actually, the part about the bus was actually the same commute that David Sly does everyday (he lives in Denver). However, most people live close by so they can take just one bus or walk to the campus. Personally, I take the bus from my house (pictured in the movie) to campus which takes about 15 minutes.

Also, while it's technically okay to have alcohol on campus if you are of legal age and can prove it the majority of students are under drinking age, so you might run into problems. It's not uncommon for under-age students to have alcohol in their dorm rooms but getting caught will have serious penalties.

With all the parties around alcohol is very easy to get a hold of. CU used to be well known for it's numerous drinking parties.

I have a question to watch the Kumagai san’s movie.
It seems that most Japanese students study less than American students. Is it true that American students study hard?

Orange Blossom さんのコメント...

How much American students study depends on the student and what major they have. Generally engineering, math, and science majors tend to have to study a great deal more than those with majors like business, economics, etc.

It seems to me that Japanese students study more during high school (what with cram school, clubs, etc.) than American students. However, I hear that University for Japanese students is a lot more laid back... but for American students, it's usually more serious and they have to work harder then they did in high school. Like orange blossom said, it usually depends on the student's major...

I've enjoyed watching movies from Colorado.
I watched a stereotype of American students one. It was funny.
I wonder are Americans really buy huge groceries? How often do you go shopping for groceries?

I've seen several movies, and they are so funny! As Sayoko saied above, especially the movie showing a typical american students was sooos funny. We laughed a lot. I've been to America once before, and I indeed saw many "big" things there. What intrests me most in this movie, however, was that you yourself know the typical images of America and its people which we and may be people in the world have.
